Mithaq

Vision & Mission

Why this studio exists.

Mithaq Ventures was started for a single reason: 1.9 billion Muslims live in a digital world built largely without them in mind. The defaults — on identity, family, food, travel, content, and provision — are set by platforms whose business models do not align with the standards of this audience.

We do not believe the answer is awareness campaigns, advisory committees, or capital deployed into other people's startups. The answer is to build the products ourselves, retain them, and operate them on a horizon long enough to matter.

Vision

A global Islamic economy served by digital infrastructure that is category-leading in engineering, transparent in governance, and built to operate over decades.

Mission

Design, build, and operate a portfolio of consumer products across the verticals of the global Islamic economy — and converge them, over time, into a connected stack.

The verticals we focus on are the ones tracked by the State of the Global Islamic Economy report: identity and access, inheritance, provision, travel, family, finance-adjacent services, and media. Each is structurally underserved by incumbents whose defaults sit elsewhere.

The reports behind our market view are listed under Market Research.

The horizon

A decade-long build, not a funding cycle.

Year 1–2

Foundation

Four ventures live in market — HalalVPN, Wasiyyah, Barakah Pantry, MirajSIM. Operating discipline established. First cohort of paying users in each vertical.

Year 3–5

Convergence

Shared identity, payments, and distribution layer connect the portfolio. Five additional ventures from the roadmap reach beta. Studio reaches operational profitability.

Year 6–10

Infrastructure

A connected consumer stack serving the global Islamic economy — owned, governed, and operated by the studio. 10% of profit returned to community causes annually.
